Signups are now open for Season 3 of the NA-QUAKEWORLD 4v4 Draft League!

With Season 2 well under way and teams finally getting settled, it appears we can expect playoffs very shortly. Let's get our matches scheduled and crown a Season 2 champion!

Post up your suggestions on what you would like to see happen for Season 3! Smaller more RELIABLE teams of 5? More play time for new/inexperienced players?

Any ideas you have post them up! (or message me with them on IRC). The sooner we know, the sooner we can start forming a better picture of what all the players what to see with the league for next season.

I personally, as I know many of you have said, would like to see 5 person teams of people who are reliable so that the season goes much faster/smoother, teams have no trouble fielding 4, and it's a little more newb friendly. Only time will tell, it's up to you guys!

I think 5 people per team is fine. I would also like to see more maps in the pool to play on. I can't remember the map names but I'll IRC them to you tonight after I get on a server and figure them out.

Also, have you thought about starting up a 2v2 league as well? I actually prefer 2on2s over 4v4. We could mix up pro players with rookies or have 2 intermediates on a team against a pro and a rookie... increased map pool including Aerowalk, ztndm3, dm2, a2, dm4, dm6...... emo

I would like to see more teams of fewer but more reliable players. Max 5 players. I feel that teams of 6 and 7 with 4 or 5 powerhouse players doesn't promote much gameplay for the remaining newer players on the team. My understanding of draft league was to have fun and grow the community by introducing qw to newer players. It was all just supposed to be fun for the community. I saw very little of that in the previous seasons. People throw the word community around but at the end of the day seemed more concerned about winning than playing newer players.
Hopefully the makeup of teams this time around will be less people per team so that all teams will be playing their newer players.
